DF11 UPDATE FILE - INSTRUCTIONS

This installation manual has been tested and is working for all versions of Football Manager.

🔎 The ZIP software you need.

• Windows OS users need 'WinRaR' to unzip the downloaded file.

  For smooth file extraction, we recommend using the original free WinRAR software.

  If you encounter any problems, try '7-Zip' or the default zip software on your PC.

  
  

• Mac OS users need 'The Unarchiver' to unzip the downloaded file.

  For smooth file extraction, we recommend using the default Mac Unarchiver software. If you encounter problems, try 'KEKA' or 'Decompressor' for MAC OS.

Note for Mac users: you might first need to activate RAR + Zip Archive on the 'Archive formats screen.'

Installation manual

There are multiple update files available for your DF11 Megapack.

The only correct method is to follow the right order of the update files.

Start with update 1, 2, 3, and so on.

1 - Download the update file. It will come as an RAR/ZIP file.

2 - Double-click the RAR/ZIP file > It will open automatically.

3 - You want to unzip/extract the files. So, choose "EXTRACT TO".

4 - Now browse in WinRar to select the location of your DF11 Megapack, which is normally located here:

• WINDOWS (FM10 - FM26): Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 20**\graphics\DF11 Megapack

  
  

• MAC (FM10 - FM19): Users\Username\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 20**\graphics\DF11 Megapack

  
  

• MAC (FM20 - FM26): Users\Username\Library\Application Support\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 20**\graphics\DF11 Megapack

  
  

• GAMEPASS / EPIC / MICROSOFT: Username\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 20**\graphics\DF11 Megapack
  

5 - Select the DF11 Megapack folder + Confirm with OK.

6 - A new pop-up will appear, stating "The following file already exists":

Press "YES TO ALL" to confirm.

Your DF11 Megapack is now updated with brand-new faces.

The config file has also been updated to make the new faces visible in your FM game.

Now, start up your Football Manager game.

7 - Open the in-game settings and go to 'Preferences > Advanced > Interface.'

* Click the "Clear Cache" button 1x. 

* Deactivate the line: "Use caching to decrease page loading times."

* Activate: "Reload skin when confirming changes in preferences."

* Confirm the changes to reload the skin.

8 - Congratulations. You have just updated your DF11 Megapack! 9 - Now, move on to the next update file in line and repeat all the steps. Keep updating your DF11 Megapack every month so you will never have to download a new DF11 Megapack again.

💡 Alternative install instructions:

1. Download the update file

2. Create an empty folder

3. Place the update file in the empty folder

4. Unpack the update file within the empty folder.

5. Delete the RAR/ZIPP update file from the folder.

6. Select all files by pressing "CTRL + A". (faces + config file)

7. Transfer all files to your DF11 Megapack folder (cut and paste).

8. Overwrite existing files in your DF11 Megapack when prompted.

9. Done
